Well, June's box has officially been shipped! For those of you who are interested, here's what we have included in our June SewCraftyBox. The "SCB Classic" box received two fat quarters of adorable fabric in two of the three selections that we have chosen below, as well as an awesome embellishment of our choice. "SCB Deluxe" members received fat quarters in all three styles, as well as double the embellishments!
To kick summer off perfectly, we decided to go with some whimsical prints!
1. This Paul Frank astronaut pattern was just too cute not to pass onto our SCB friends. Reminiscent of warm summer nights, being young (or young at heart), and letting the imagination soar beyond the clouds, this lightweight cotton would be perfect for all sorts of crafty endeavors.
2. Although summer is time for lighter fabrics, we also included a light flannel for those cooler climates, or even just for the days when you're looking to snuggle. The Hello Kitty script print micro-flannel is the perfect choice! Nothing says "adorable" like this black and white print with a touch of Hello Kitty's signature hot pink color.
3. Our final selection was this dove-gray lightweight cotton. We couldn't get enough of this whimsical vintage-inspired floral print, where the monochrome world of black and white mixes beautifully with a sunny yellow and pearl-pink garden of elaborate blooms and vines. This lightweight cotton fabric print will lend a friendly and flirty air to both traditional and modern pieces alike.
